The Adelaide Business School invites applications for a Teaching Fellowship in Project Management. The Adelaide Business School has a stimulating multidisciplinary learning environment that fosters the pursuit of leadership and excellence in both research and education. It is an Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) accredited business school offering a broad range of undergraduate and postgraduate programs in the core discipline areas of accounting, entrepreneurship finance, management and marketing, and a suite of MBA programs. The Business School also offers high quality research programs at the honours, master’s and PhD level.
The position is open to candidates wishing to pursue a teaching focused role where there is an expectation the candidate can demonstrate the ability to engage students in undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Project Management. We are looking for self-motivated individuals who can demonstrate a willingness to work with colleagues on initiatives and contribute to the School, Faculty and University. The candidate will be assigned a workload of up to 90% teaching and teaching-related duties
To be successful you will need:
- A PhD in Project Management or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience in innovative curriculum design and/or delivery of high-quality and engaging courses.
- Proven excellence in teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate level in Project Management.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a professional and collegial manner, and to build rapport with all levels of academic and professional staff within a diverse and inclusive work environment.
- Willingness to contribute positively to the Management Discipline at Adelaide Business School, in terms of internal citizenship as well as external engagement with the broader field of project management. This includes the willingness and ability to support a workplace culture based on inclusion, accountability, problem-solving orientation, and emotional intelligence.
