We are looking for an Administration Officer to work within our team that supports the University’s Body Donation Program.
Working under general direction, the Administrative Officer is responsible for providing administrative support to faculty teaching and research activities with particular focus on managing the University’s Body Donation Program.
This position provides a responsive and professional first point of contact for representatives from SA Health and Births, Deaths and Marriages (BDM). Administrative support may include but is not limited to diary management, coordination of internal and external meetings, appointments.
To be successful you will need:
- Demonstrated experience providing a range of administrative services with excellent attention to detail, efficiency and accuracy.
- Demonstrated experience communicating, both verbally and in writing, to a wide range of stakeholders both internally, those from the public service sector and external clients and families.
- Sound interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence in dealing with sensitive conversations.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment to achieve required outcomes.
- Demonstrated ability to promote the organisational values of integrity, respect, collegiality, excellence and discovery, and a commitment to positively comply with the associated behaviour expectations.
- Experience within the funeral or medical administration roles would be desirable.
