Help drive a customer centric approach to brand and marketing strategy

Working under limited direction, the Audience Specialist is responsible for the University's audience management capability and associated digital experience technology. Key functions include, overseeing the audience framework, audience optimisation, ensuring delivery of optimal experiences to audiences, as well as supporting platform implementation, configuration and data ingestion with IT and technical partners. The position leverages experience with audience management to understand stakeholder and customer goals, define audiences, design solution architecture to connect the right data sources, and build audiences to assist the business and team in delivering customer-first omnichannel experiences.

To be successful you will need:

  • Experience with configuring, implementing and/or working with a Data Management Platform (DMP) and/or CDP (Customer Data Platform).
  • Experience in audience management and segmentation.
  • Understanding of the technical aspects of the implementation for digital experience platforms: data sources, ID sync, offline data ingestion, profile merge configuration, data destination set up. Basic knowledge of APIs.
  • Experience working in a digital marketing team and collaborating with IT and external partners.
  • Experience with analysis and optimisation across marketing channels such as digital marketing (SEO/SEM, display, affiliates, social media) and direct marketing (email, outbound).
