0.4FTE part time (14.70 hours per week) fixed term position, available until 31/12/2025.

Exciting opportunity to develop and deliver careers events and programs connecting industry with students.

Working under general direction, the Employer and Student Liaison Officer is responsible for providing support to industry to maximise employment opportunities for students. This includes identifying, developing and implementing a wide range of services, resources and face-to-face events to support the Employability and Careers agenda at the University of Adelaide, including coordinating the University of Adelaide Career Expo, an annual calendar of careers events on campus together with associated promotional activities to students.

To be successful you will need:

  • Proven experience in coordinating and executing large events from conception through to completion and review
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and expanding networks and creating mutually beneficial business relationships.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, both written and oral with the ability to communicate with a wide range of clientele including the ability to present or train industry, staff or student groups.
  • Demonstrated high level administrative skills including designing and maintaining online databases, competence with Excel and the ability to interrogate IT systems to produce accurate reports.
  • Proven ability to maintain high levels of record keeping including logistical data and financial documents and prepare regular reports for stakeholders.
