Various shifts available for different durations between the working hours of Monday-Friday 9:00am-5:00pm, in an in-person, on-campus setting.

Working under broad direction, a Casual Student Counselling Admin Support will be responsible for provision of day-to-day administrative operations and reception for the Counselling Support Service and provide information to assist students and others accessing the service.
The Division of Academic and Student Engagement (DASE) partners with students, staff and the broader community to deliver an outstanding student experience. At the heart of the student experience are transformational opportunities in learning and teaching.
The Student Experience branch is responsible for providing services that deliver an excellent student experience. This includes administrative and support services to students as well as service to, and partnership with, academic staff in the development of a high-quality, engaging and relevant learning environment.
To be successful you will need:
- An ability to be flexible in regard to working hours, with availability between corporate business hours of Monday – Friday 9:00am-5:00pm, with occasional requirement to start work with a few hours’ notice.
- Demonstrated experience communicating, both verbally and in writing, in a succinct, professional and responsive manner to deliver client centric results.
- Demonstrated experience in customer relations maintaining a high level of confidentiality.
- Demonstrated experience in the provision of high-level administrative tasks including excellent organisational, and time management skills
- Experience in the utilisation of a range of PC based hardware and software applications, including competency across the full Microsoft office suite of programs.
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to take direction and work independently or collaboratively as part of a team.
- Previous experience in a University environment is desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to promote the organisational values of integrity, respect, collegiality, excellence and discovery, and a commitment to positively comply with the associated behaviour expectations
This position requires a valid Working with Children Check.
