The Marketing branch provides leadership in positioning the University of Adelaide within the higher education sector, both in Australia and globally; and contributes significantly towards the University’s financial targets through driving student revenue generation, reputation development and relationship building. The Marketing branch is responsible for strategic marketing, communications and events that enhance the University of Adelaide’s brand, increase engagement and ensure business sustainability through generating student demand. The branch delivers a suite of effective marketing services.
Working under general direction, the Brand Coordinator is responsible for coordinating campaigns and projects that support the University’s brand and reputation. The position is responsible to coordinate, monitor and evaluate key marketing activities that actively contribute to the University’s objectives of brand building and student recruitment. The position will maintain effective working relationships with staff across the University and external partners and agencies.
To be successful you will need:
- Demonstrated experience in developing and delivering high profile advertising campaigns.
- Demonstrated experience analysing, interpreting, actioning and presenting about market research, media results, campaign metrics and business results.
- Demonstrated experience managing multiple projects with conflicting deadlines, with the ability to effectively prioritise without impacting project output.
- Demonstrated experience building positive working relationships with people from diverse backgrounds and roles.
- Demonstrated experience in decisive decision-making and working autonomously whilst ensuring plans and activities are aligned to marketing strategy, brand standards and organisation goals, as well as management and stakeholder expectations.
- Strong knowledge of marketing and media trends, as well as concept development
- Demonstrated ability to promote the organisational values of integrity, respect, collegiality, excellence and discovery, and a commitment to positively comply with the associated behaviour expectations.
