Continuing, full-time position available

Working under general direction, the Team Leader, Academic Assessment is responsible for the operational delivery of University wide admissions academic assessment activity for coursework students.

The role is responsible for providing leadership to the admissions academic assessment team and manages all operational activities of borderline and advance standing assessments, including the Credit Management System and processes, data management and workflow management. The Team Leader, Academic Assessment will drive continuous improvement to ensure best processes to support advance standing and borderline assessment management.

To be successful you will need:

  • Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of international admissions and related assessment procedures including problem solving skills and proficiency in resolving complex matters.
  • Demonstrated supervision experience and ability to build, lead and motivate a cohesive team to achieve quality customer service and timely business outcomes.
  • High level organisational skills including strong attention to detail, the ability to complete tasks end to end and to manage multiple priorities within tight timelines.
  • Proven ability in stakeholder engagement and establishing positive work relationships with internal and external staff to achieve business outcomes.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the legislative and policy frameworks underpinning compliance, quality and equity in advance standing/credit assessment and international admissions.
