The Management Accountant is responsible for delivering high-quality management accounting, reporting and analysis to Faculties, Divisions, Branches and Schools of the University. These services include the provision of specialist financial business planning, modelling, analysis, reporting, and advice to guide the successful delivery of the business and to support investment decision making. Working under limited direction with a degree of autonomy and reporting to the Team Leader Management Reporting & Analysis.
To be successful you will need:
- Demonstrated experience in the delivery of budgeting and management reporting frameworks.
- Demonstrated experience in finance related accounting standards and legislation.
- Strong analytical skills and demonstrated experience in the collection, manipulation, analysis and reporting of data.
- Demonstrated computer skills, including experience with financial systems and Microsoft Office suite of applications, particularly Excel.
- Demonstrated commitment to a customer service culture and business partnering with stakeholders.
- Experience in provision of high-quality financial accounting services in complex environments.
