HE06 $89,383 to $96,550 per annum plus an employer contribution of 17% superannuation applies.
Fixed term position until end of May 2025 (with potential to extend)
The Student Affairs Support Officer role is responsible for providing professional and effective administrative and operational support to Student Affairs, which sits within the broader Student Life area of the University.
This role is responsible for a range of administrative activities including receiving, acknowledging, collating and triaging student behaviour incident reports as well as student complaints and appeals.
You will collaborate with a diverse range of stakeholders across the University and contribute to process improvements that enhance the student experience and uphold University standards. Candidates with strong administrative skills that want to work in a values-driven, diverse, and inclusive culture are encouraged to apply.
To be successful you will need:
- Experience in providing a range of administrative services at a senior level, including preparing correspondence, managing records and data and identifying and analysing information and issues to support the development of practical solutions and recommendations.
- Excellent verbal and interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to liaise and develop key relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders, including providing support and advice.
- A good working knowledge of recordkeeping and file management practices.
- Knowledge of University of Adelaide policies, procedures, and experience with both domestic and international tertiary student issues.
- Excellent research, analytical and writing skills with strong attention to detail to enable analysis of relevant information and data and the provision of high-quality reports.
- Proven ability to work positively and effectively in a supportive team environment.
