(HE05) $80,118 - $89,085 per annum plus an employer contribution of 17% superannuation applies. 

1 x full-time continuing role and 1 x full-time fixed term contract available until 31 December 2025.

The University of Adelaide is seeking 2 x Support Consultants with exceptional customer service skills and experience supporting academics to join our Learning Systems team. 

As a Support Consultant, you will be responsible for providing support to staff and students with a particular focus on supporting our academic community. You will work closely with academic staff to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions and problem-solving support.  You will have the opportunity to develop your skills in a fast-paced environment, working with technology and emerging trends in education. 

Experience in a technical support role is not essential but customer service and academic support skills with an aptitude to learn technical systems will be key to your success. 

To be successful you will need:  

  • Demonstrated experience in providing high-level customer service across technical support and advice, with a particular focus on supporting teaching and learning applications in a Higher Education environment. 
  • The proven ability to resolve inquiries within agreed timeframes, working in a collaborative team environment. 
  • Well-developed interpersonal communication skills with the ability to effectively develop productive relationships to sustain an excellent customer service culture, and to influence and mentor team members. 
  • Ability to adapt to, and thrive in, an environment of constant technical change. 
  • Demonstrated ability to promote the organisational values of integrity, respect, collegiality, excellence and discovery and a commitment to positively comply with the associated behaviour expectations.
