(HEO6) $86,360 to $93,285.00 salary per annum plus an employer contribution of 17% superannuation applies.

Two continuing positions available immediately either Full Time / Part Time

The HSW Officer is a forward-facing resource responsible to provide expert health and safety advice and support to both academic and professional staff throughout the university.

To be successful you will need:

  • Sound knowledge of relevant WHS Legislation, safety management systems and hazard management approaches.
  • Demonstrated experience in influencing management to effect, positive HSW outcomes across a complex organisation.
  • Demonstrated ability to draft and prepare quality HSW-related material and documentation.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and an attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated ability to plan, prioritise and organise work to achieve goals and meet deadlines.
