The Environment Institute at the University of Adelaide unites top research groups from across all faculties, focusing on science, engineering, economics, health and social science related to environmental and social sustainability. Our research drives the discovery and preservation of global biodiversity, using an interdisciplinary approach to enhance water and landscape management for societal well-being.
We are seeking an Administration Officer to join our team. Reporting to the Institute Manager, you will support the activities of the Environment Institute and its associated centres. Your responsibilities will include a range of administrative tasks, supporting the Institute's research priorities, and aiding the EI Advisory Board. Additionally, you will assist with outreach communications, including managing websites, publications, and coordinating events.

To be successful you will need (Selection Criteria to address)
- Proven experience in an administrative role with excellent organisational and time management skills including the ability to prioritise work and work independently as appropriate.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills including report writing.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to work collegially as part of a team and with a wide range of stakeholder groups, particularly external clients.
- Experience in providing financial support.
- Skills in marketing, social media, events and webpage management
Qualifications:
Certificate III and extensive relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of experience and/or education/training.
