An exclusive role has opened up in the capacity of Education Program Manager within our English Language Centre, which is a recognised leader in the higher education space for its English teachings and offerings.

Education Transformation within DASE aims to advance a contemporary learning paradigm that delivers a transformative education experience to a broad range of students, inclusive of relevant and flexible curriculum, contemporary pedagogy and accessible modes of delivery.
The English Language Centre (ELC) offers a range of General, Specialised and Academic English language programs, and English teacher training services (TESOL) and teaching methodologies programs to the international and local market. The ELC consistently ranks as one of the leading English colleges in Australia, with a reputation for teaching quality, customer service and a world class student experience. Our offerings include: packaged pathway, short term programs and post entry Academic English skills offerings. The ELC works closely with schools, faculties, external partners to support the University’s strategic and commercial goals.
The Education Program Manager will manage a range of ELC’s Programs. This includes contributing to their development by ensuring the effective and efficient delivery of high quality and customer centred programs, as required in accordance with the relevant curriculum objectives.
To be successful you will need:
- Demonstrated leadership skills, including the ability to create a positive, supportive and high performing culture
- Demonstrated experience in the planning, development, delivery and evaluation of teaching
- Demonstrated knowledge of EAL methodologies and resources and the ability to adapt these
- Previous experience in all aspects of working and teaching on English language programs – including a minimum of 800 hours of experience in the teaching of English for Academic Purposes to adults
- Highly developed interpersonal and written communication skills
- Competent in the use of technology, including various databases, Learning Management Systems (LMS) and other software, including a high level of competence across the Microsoft suite of programs and Blackboard
- Experience in project coordination and implementation
- Cross cultural awareness and sensitivity to differences in the cultural and learning backgrounds of a diverse range of students
