(Level D) $162,460 to $178,700 per annum plus an employer contribution of 17% superannuation applies.

An exciting opportunity exists for an Associate Professor (Level D) in the area of Speech Pathology to join the School of Allied Health Science and Practice in the Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences. This is a unique opportunity to contribute as a leader within the speech pathology team to deliver our innovative teaching and research programs with our inclusive, future-focused team.
The successful candidate will bring their skill, creativity and experience and will play a pivotal role in leadership, teaching and research/scholarship at The University of Adelaide. The candidate will contribute to the operational delivery of the Speech Pathology program and will undertake broader leadership activities within the School of Allied Health Science and Practice and Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences.
To be successful, applicants will need:
- Completion of a PhD in the relevant discipline, or have equivalent qualifications and be eligible for registration with Speech Pathology Australia as a Certified Practicing Speech Pathologist.
- Established undergraduate and postgraduate level teaching skills.
- Demonstrated effectiveness and leadership in curriculum development with a proven commitment to excellence in teaching and use of innovative teaching methods.
- Demonstrated experience of exemplary leadership and management within higher education.
- An established international reputation for research within the discipline area.
- Proven ability to build sustainable relationships with a range of industry partners and evidence of the ability to promote research links with outside organisations.
