(HE06) $89,383 to $96,550 per annum plus an employer contribution of 17% superannuation applies.

Fixed term part-time (0.8 FTE) position available for 10 months.

Student Learning partners with university leaders, faculties, schools, academics and students to deliver high quality education across the university. Student Learning is responsible for the strategic leadership, quality assurance, and continuous enhancement of evidence-informed learning and teaching practice

The Teaching Excellence Officer is responsible for the promotion and support of activities that develop, disseminate, recognise and reward excellence in teaching at the University, including teaching and learning grants, awards and fellowships; peer review scheme; Adelaide Education Academy activities; induction and continuing professional development for teaching; and other relevant activities.

To be successful you will need:

  • Demonstrated experience in the provision of efficient program administration services and support, in a higher education environment or similar context, including providing information, advice and reports.
  • Well-developed interpersonal skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders in particular academic colleagues
  • Highly developed written communication skills, including preparation of draft documentation, creation of promotional materials and correspondence
  • High level record keeping skills and ability to prepare draft documents and report on program outcomes
  • Demonstrated commitment to a team culture with the capacity for flexibility and the ability to respond to change in a fast-paced and complex environment.
