Multiple full-time, continuing Lecturer (Level B) and Senior Lecturer (Level C) roles available

With strengths in teaching and research in cognitive psychology, health and clinical psychology, social and organisational psychology and human factors, the School of Psychology is seeking new members to join the team

We are seeking academic staff who are outstanding and innovative teachers and strong researchers from any methodological backgrounds including qualitative, quantitative, experimental and mixed methods, from any area of psychology.

Are you someone who can further strengthen, extend and complement the profile of the School, the Faculty and the University?

To be successful you will need:

Lecturer – Level B

  • A PhD or equivalent higher academic qualification in Psychology.
  • Demonstrated skills and experience in the conduct of research.
  • A record of peer-reviewed publications at national and international level.
  • Demonstrated skills and experience in the preparation and delivery of lectures, tutorials, demonstrations and workshops; as well as marking and assessment activities; and a commitment to excellence in teaching in Psychology with an applied focus.
  • Experience in course coordination and highly organised in the management of teaching and learning resources and staffing.

Senior Lecturer – Level C, in addition to the above you will also need:

  • Demonstrated ability to win bids for competitive external funding(Category 1-4) to support individual and collaborative research activities.
  • Evidence of professional and research leadership creativity.
