This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge research in tree crop breeding, with a focus on almonds. You will lead and support field and laboratory-based research activities, collaborate with industry partners, and contribute to the development of improved almond cultivars through innovative breeding strategies. The role requires experience with quantitative genetics, mixed models, multi-environment trials, and modern genomic selection approaches for perennial tree crop breeding programs.

- Proficiency in statistical analysis and data workflows using relevant tools (e.g., R, Python, ASReml, mixed models) to interpret complex experimental results and inform selection decisions.
- Proven ability to design and lead independent research while collaborating effectively across disciplines.
