The School of Public Health is seeking a highly motivated and skilled individual to join the Health Evidence Synthesis, Recommendations, and Impact (HESRI) team as a Research Officer.
HESRI is a dynamic and interdisciplinary research unit, that aims to create trustworthy evidence and recommendations for impact on policy, practice, and decision-making.
The Research Officer will be responsible for providing research, technical and administrative support to HESRI staff to ensure smooth and successful performance of the research program, particularly in the conduct of systematic reviews.
To be successful you will need:
- Familiarity with searching medical databases and retrieving articles
- Ability to work well under pressure and to meet deadlines with an ability to prioritise tasks
- Demonstrated understanding of systematic and scoping reviews
- Knowledge of scientific processes and terminology (Desirable)
- Extensive experience and specialist experience or broad knowledge in technical or administrative fields; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training
