Join the Future Students branch as Regional Manager and play a vital part in driving student recruitment targets for the University of Adelaide
The Future Students Branch comprises the International Recruitment, Admissions, Domestic Recruitment and the Future Students Experience teams.
Working under broad direction the Regional Manager is accountable for driving student recruitment targets for designated markets and for engaging with Faculties to ensure that these targets are met collectively. This includes responsibility for the development, implementation and management of successful international marketing, student recruitment and conversion activities, including new and innovative approaches to recruitment. As part of this activity, the Regional Manager is also responsible for directing and supervising the activities of in-country recruitment staff, if relevant; driving the success of key relationships with agent office managers, working with Faculty academic and professional staff members in coordinating and implementing efficient and effective student recruitment strategies.
The Regional Manager is responsible for providing market intelligence on competitor activity, opportunities and challenges and sharing this information with leadership across the Branch and Division and Faculty Marketing Managers.
To be successful you will need:
- Demonstrated experience in international recruitment and an ability to meet recruitment targets over a sustained period.
- Demonstrated initiative and drive to set and achieve deliverable outcomes.
- Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of all aspects of international higher education student recruitment industry including compliance and the ability to keep up-to-date with relevant changes to policy.
- Proven interpersonal and liaison skills to building relationships which deliver results with stakeholders, including government agencies, agents, prospective students and their parents, and senior University staff.
- Ability to think innovatively to solve problems.
