An exciting opportunity to contribute to the cultural life of the University campus. The Exhibitions Coordinator works to plan, design and deliver displays and exhibitions aligned with the University’s learning, teaching and research programs. This role works under limited direction, but collaborates closely with the Library’s collection, liaison and communication teams to plan, coordinate and deliver a broad range of engagement activities that support a compelling student and campus experience.
These engagement activities aim to highlight and promote the University's research, student projects, library and archival collections, as well as its art and heritage collections.
To be successful you will need:
- Demonstrated experience in the planning, design, delivery and evaluation of engaging exhibition programs.
- Proven ability to proactively build and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to write project plans, reports and exhibition collateral.
- Project management skills, including the ability to exercise initiative, establish priorities, problem solve and meet deadlines.
- Proven ability to actively contribute to a collaborative, dynamic team and implement change in the workplace.
- An understanding of contemporary and emerging pedagogical practice, digital capabilities and graduate attributes.
