(HEO5) $74,289 to $82,603 per annum plus an employer contribution of 17% superannuation applies.

Fixed term, full-time opportunity available until December 2023 with the possibility of extension.

An exciting opportunity exists within Human Resources Branch for a motivated HR Customer service and support team member to join the HR Service Centre team. This is a great opportunity for someone wanting to start a career within HR or looking for an opportunity to broaden their HR Advisory skills.

As a HR Service Centre Officer, you will act as the first point of contact, providing friendly, timely and accurate customer service in relation to HR related enquiries, including HR system advice. You will also support the HR Branch with administering and updating the HR Website to ensure accurate information is provided to our stakeholders at all times. You will have exposure to all teams across the HR Branch to assist with investigating, analysing and resolving of HR enquiries, and escalating more complex matters to the relevant Centre of Excellence.

To be successful you will need:

  • Strong and engaging communication skills, both verbal and written as you will be receiving and responding to queries over the phone and in writing.
  • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to interpret and effectively advise on tier 1 level HR policy and procedure enquiries.
  • Demonstrated experience working in a customer centric environment, with proven ability to provide a friendly and supportive experience for all stakeholders. 
  • Experience working with multiple systems and sound knowledge of the Microsoft suite of products.
  • Previous experience within HR or a Call Centre/Help Desk role is highly desirable.
