(Level A) $72,829 to $97,927 per annum plus an employer contribution of 17% superannuation applies.

Fixed term, full-time opportunity available for 12 months.

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Postdoctoral Researcher to join our team in the field of digital education and training.

The successful candidate will work closely with our research group to contribute to cutting-edge research projects, design innovative digital learning interventions, and advance our understanding of effective educational strategies in the digital era. This position offers a unique opportunity to make significant contributions to the field of digital education and training while gaining valuable research experience in a collaborative and dynamic environment.

This role requires the appointee to contribute to research projects across the Unit’s areas of interest, developing ethics applications, supporting research design decisions with input on methodology and methods, and to contribute to the dissemination of research outcomes. The appointee will also be expected to engage with industry and support supervision of students as required. The appointee will help lead the Unit’s activities and will work regular work hours and will not be expected to routinely work after hours or on weekends.

To be successful you will need:

  • A PhD in a relevant discipline or equivalent qualifications or research experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct independent research.
  • A sound understanding of the role of technology in education and training.
  • Emerging track record of high-quality publications and conference presentations relative to opportunity.
  • Experience in project administration with a demonstrated ability to plan, document and monitor activities.
