(HEO6) and $82,879-$89,525 per annum plus an employer contribution of 17% superannuation applies.
Full Time Continuing Position
The Faculty of Science, Engineering and Technology (SET) is seeking to appoint a full-time Executive Assistant to provide high level executive and administrative support to the Executive Dean and Faculty Executive Director.
As part of the Faculty Executive Support team, the Executive Assistant is responsible for managing the Executive Dean’s office, providing high level executive and administrative services to the Executive Dean and Faculty Executive Director. Working under general direction, this position supports the senior management in all aspects of office communication, including managing the electronic and manual systems, diary and travel coordination, drafting a wide range of correspondence, reports and papers, as well as well as providing high level committee support and supporting the other staff within the Office as required.
To be successful you will need:
- Extensive experience working in an executive support role, providing executive support and assistance to senior managers.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively under pressure and manage conflicting priorities and deadlines.
- Excellent verbal and interpersonal and communications skills and the ability to liaise and develop key relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders.
- Excellent research, analytical and writing skills with strong attention to detail to enable analysis of relevant information and data, and the provision of high-quality reports.
- A high level of computer literacy skills, including demonstrated experience in word processing, spreadsheets, presentations, and database management.
- Demonstrated ability to promote the organisational values of integrity, respect, collegiality, excellence and discovery, and a commitment to positively comply with the associated behaviour expectations.
