(HE06) $82,879 - $89,525 per annum plus an employer contribution of 17% superannuation applies.

12 month fixed term opportunity for a Project Support Officer to support the Indigenous Engagement within the Division of Academic and Student Engagement.

Working under general direction of the Project Manager, you will provide high-level administrative support to the Indigenous Portfolio Review leadership team for the duration of the review period.

You will support the review project leadership team with administration tasks as well as financial administration support.  You will provide guidance to colleagues on the ongoing activities and coordinator meeting and team functions, such as organising venues and catering.

You will oversee financial operations associated with the review project and ensure compliance with the university financial policies and procedures.

To be successful you will need:

  • Experience in working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, communities, and agencies.
  • Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills, communicates in a succinct, professional, and responsive manner.
  • Demonstrated experience in working with a high level of flexibility and adaptability undertaking and delivering a range of functions in an efficient and effective manner.
  • Experience in organising, undertaking, and completing multiple tasks with competing deadlines.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, the University’s financial, expense management, and records management systems is required as well as an understanding of the student Peoplesoft system.
