Design, develop and deliver engaging and effective learning activities across the University

Working under limited direction and in conjunction with other members of the team, the Technology & Digital Enablement Specialist designs, develops and delivers engaging and effective learning activities and associated support resources to staff across the University to enable change. The role works closely with the IT Engagement and Change Management functions, and involves preparing communication artefacts, planning and implementing engagement activities, and various other tasks that support products, services and strategic initiatives across Information Technology and Digital Services (ITDS).

To be successful you will need: 

  • Extensive experience in design, build and delivery of online, blended and face to face activities, courses and programs in an education and/or business setting.
  • Exceptional written, verbal and presentation skills, with the capability of inspiring others, with a consultative and collaborative communication style to the delivery of high level negotiations and engagement.
  • Demonstrated flexibility, resilience, and openness to change and new ideas.
  • Demonstrated ability to exercise a high degree of independent operation, strategic, problem solving and creative thinking, and a proven capacity to plan, prioritise and implement strategies for a large and complex organisation.
  • Capacity for understanding the development needs of a leading Australian university, and awareness of local and international trends in the higher education sector.
