(HE06) $81,254 to $87,770 per annum (pro rata) plus an employer contribution of up to 17% superannuation may apply.

Fixed term, part-time (0.8 FTE) opportunity available for 12 months.

The Regional Engagement Officer will work as part of the regional engagement team to develop and manage their identified area.  

Children's University Adelaide coordinates student outreach through extra curricular learning activities and volunteering opportunities in primary and secondary schools in South Australia. 

This role will focus on the development of new Children's University (CU) centres, supporting schools with the initial set up of the CU model, including recruiting new schools to the program and providing validation training to school staff and other organisations. This role will also be responsible for the expansion of key stakeholder relations, particularly Public Learning Destinations in the Eyre Peninsula. The Regional Engagement Officer will be expected to build strong relationships with local and regional partners who may play a key role in local CU development, support and sustainability.

To be successful you will need: 

  • Ability to work to short time lines, to be flexible and to be able to prioritise competing demands.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Demonstrated ability to engage, develop and maintain key stakeholder relations.
  • Proven commitment to collaborative and consultative styles of working and demonstrated ability to work cooperatively as directed, and as a member of a team.
  • Experience in working with regional communities and establishing strong regional networks. (Desirable)
