Two year, part-time position available at 0.5FTE

Contribute to the distribution of best practices to improve diversity and inclusion for the University

Working under general direction, the Diversity and Inclusion Officer is responsible for coordinating and facilitating the development, engagement and implementation of key initiatives. The role will contribute to the distribution of best practices assisting to improve diversity and inclusion. Providing reporting, data and analysis to assist various stakeholders will be an important part of the role.

The Organisational Development portfolio is responsible for designing strategies, frameworks and tools to support talent management, change, and organisational design and to coordinate staff gender equity initiatives.

To be successful you will need to demonstrate:

  • Understanding of diversity and inclusion issues in the workplace.
  • Proven experience in establishing successful collaborative and consultative internal and external relationships.
  • Highly developed interpersonal, negotiating and influencing skills.
  • Experience in planning, coordinating, implementing and reviewing projects and activities.
  • Highly developed skills in reporting, data management and analysis
