Exciting opportunity to influence the continuous development of the Library facilities for the University

The Library Collection and Facilities Coordinator is responsible for all Library facilities and spaces, ensuring that the Library is a welcoming, safe space that is well equipped to meet the needs of our users and delivering consistent excellence in facilities presentation. The library provides a diverse range of spaces across our campuses at North Terrace, Waite and Roseworthy and this role will be critical in influencing the continuous development of Library facilities and spaces that are dynamic and responsive to user needs.

This role will manage the Library’s existing Collections and Facilities team and has oversight for projects and logistics associated with management of the Library’s physical collections across all four branch libraries and the Library Joint Store.

  • A functional knowledge of building maintenance and ability to liaise effectively with maintenance teams, contractors, vendors and security.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and proven ability to lead teams, positively influence and model exemplary leadership to develop a high performing culture.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to write planning documents, reports and analyse and interpret data.
  • Proven ability to plan, lead and manage projects, with experience working in a complex multi-site environment.
