Full time, fixed term position available for 3 years
Coordinate the transition of capital works to Facility Management programs and operations supporting the life-cycle. Contribute to, or manage the delivery of selected minor projects. Service Excellence and compliance and risk management
Capital Projects and Facilities Management is responsible for the delivery of infrastructure projects and the provision of facilities management and support services across the University's property portfolio to support the University's core learning, teaching, research and administration activities.
Under limited direction, as the Senior Technical Officer, you will be responsible for the transition of projects through testing, commission, practical completion and DLP phases to Facilities Management. You will have responsibility for ensuring all documentation and data complies with the Branch's data strategy and standards, along with the management of minor re-locations and refurbishment building works projects.
To be successful you will need:
- Demonstrated knowledge an experience in large scale facility management environment
- An understanding of and experience in building management systems, delivery of minor infrastructure projects
- Demonstrated understanding of sustainability principles
- Understanding of asset management.
