The Continuous Delivery Lead will be responsible for leading the development, maintenance and support of a suite of enterprise applications, including HR, Finance and Student Administration
The position is instrumental in driving Delivery Operations (DevOps) and continuous delivery practices and building the human resource capability required, within their application portfolio.
The position will lead and manage the IT Application assets life-cycle which includes the delivery of high quality application support services aligned to industry best practice incorporating 2nd and 3rd level support, maintenance, upgrades, enhancements, vendor management and implementation of new functionality to meet the strategic needs of the business.
The Continuous Delivery Lead will be responsible for the development of capability within their application portfolio, including staff professional development, development and implementation of relevant application standards, methods and tools. The position will foster an environment of continuous improvement, collaboration, customer service and delivery.
To be successful you will need:
- Experience and a proven track record in IT Application Management / Service delivery roles, with an understanding of DevOps Operating models.
- Experience in management of a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders to ensure collaborative work practices.
- Demonstrated experience in managing Application Services, trends and best practices, and support processes and procedures.
- Experience and knowledge of Service Management principles, methodologies and tools.
- High level knowledge of the application development life-cycle.
