Senior Lecturer position in the area of anatomical pathology, with a strong focus on learning and teaching excellence
Adelaide Medical School are seeking an anatomical pathologist to join the team in the Discipline of Medical Sciences, as a Senior Lecturer.
The Senior Lecturer will teach into undergraduate courses in pathology across the Health and Medical Sciences and Medical programs.
The successful candidate for this fixed term position may subsequently be appointed an Affiliate Member of the Adelaide Education Academy, providing they meet the criteria for membership and can demonstrate evidence of excellence in teaching to the satisfaction of the Academy.
To be successful you will need:
- MBBS qualifications (or equivalent) registrable with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and Fellowship of the Royal College of Pathologists of Australasia (FRCPA).
- Ability to conduct tutorials, lectures, practical classes, workshops and clinical sessions.
- Demonstrated ability to lead others in the delivery of high quality, student centric learning and teaching that includes the capacity to incorporate new technologies and new approaches to learning and teaching.
- Skills in initiation and development of course teaching relating to anatomical pathology, including histopathology.
- Excellent oral and written communication, interpersonal, consultation and negotiation skills.
