Continuing, full-time position available

Working under limited direction with a degree of autonomy, the Senior Marketing and Communications Coordinator manages the planning, production, delivery and evaluation of content and communication projects and activities.

The role provides expert marketing and communication advice and develops faculty marketing and/or communications plans to ensure the delivery of targeted and appropriate content across all multimedia channels. The Senior Marketing and Communications Coordinator works collaboratively with the Marketing branch to ensure all activities are compliant with University brand and tone of voice standards. The role also works collaboratively with the External Engagement portfolio to develop and align communication activities.

To be successful you will need:

  • Demonstrated experience in writing creative and compelling copy across a range of channels and for a range of audiences, including demonstrated editing skills with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated successful campaign management and execution especially across digital mediums and social media platforms with an emphasis on understanding and development of key target markets and business improvement.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing marketing and communications plans, the management and delegation of projects / initiatives, and solving problems in an innovative and creative manner to achieve a defined outcome.
  • Experience utilising graphic design software in particular Adobe InDesign and Adobe Photoshop.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of marketing theory and experience in the implementation of marketing activities and communications projects related to the higher education sector.
