(HE010) $146,566 to $156,209 per annum plus an employer contribution of 17% superannuation applies.

Full-time secondment/fixed term contract until 30th June 2026.

Based in the Integration Management Office (IMO) in the Market & Partner Engagement Domain in the Adelaide CBD.

About you  

You are an experienced digital project leader with solid experience in delivering complex initiatives in dynamic environments. You bring expertise in digital marketing, customer experience, and transformational change, with the ability to align projects to strategic priorities. Known for your collaborative approach and excellent communication skills, you can influence and engage stakeholders at all levels while managing competing priorities with confidence and focus.

About the role 

As Project Lead, Digital Delivery, you will guide the successful delivery of key digital initiatives that support Adelaide University’s Day 1 readiness and long-term strategic ambitions. You will lead cross-functional teams to design and implement digital projects that enhance student and stakeholder experiences, drive engagement, and improve operational effectiveness.

You will work collaboratively across I&EE, IT, Systems Integration partners, and external vendors, ensuring projects are strategically aligned, well-scoped, and delivered to a high standard.

Core Responsibilities 

  • Lead the delivery of digital and customer experience strategies, ensuring a seamless journey from awareness to enrolment.
  • Plan, prioritise, and execute digital initiatives across websites, portals, and content platforms, leveraging best-practice marketing technology.
  • Act as the key liaison between I&EE, IT, System Integration, and marketing teams to ensure cohesive delivery aligned with strategic priorities.
  • Provide digital insights and implement robust audience segmentation to deliver tailored content and engagement strategies.
  • Drive collaboration across teams, manage risks, and ensure projects are delivered on time and to a high standard.

Essential Skills and Experience 

  • Postgraduate qualification and/ or extensive demonstrated experience in a similar role, leading complex projects in diverse, complex organisations. 
  • Demonstrated extensive experience leading the development and delivery of a range of digital marketing and customer experience strategies, ideally in a higher education or public sector context – delivering outcomes that enhance customer and stakeholder experience. 
  • Demonstrated experience in driving transformational digital change, including the ability to align initiatives with organisational strategy and managing delivery in a fast-paced, evolving environment. 
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and present strategic plans, analysis and reports to senior stakeholders, and to effectively facilitate collaboration across project teams. 
  • High level of interpersonal, influencing and negotiation skills, with exceptional oral and written and communication abilities, including presentation and report writing skills, and the capability to lead and manage staff.
