(HE05) $80,118 to $89,085 per annum plus an employer contribution of 17% superannuation applies.

Fixed term, full time position or (2 part time roles 0.6FTE for the Adelaide Medical School & 0.4FTE for the School of Public Health) available until 31st December 2025.

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a diverse, dynamic and interesting role and an ideal position for an experienced person with strong administration, transactional finance and communication skills.

Reporting to the School Business Manager(s), the Faculty Administration Coordinator plays a crucial role in providing services and support to meet School operational needs. In this role you are the professional first point of contact for staff, students, and visitors, delivering accurate and timely information and assistance.

Key responsibilities include handling transactional financial tasks (creating purchase orders, organising reimbursements, internal journal transfers, acquitting credit card expenses), travel arrangements for staff and students, executive support (diary management, committee support, events) and monitoring/actioning school generic email accounts.

To be successful you will need: 

  • High-level organisational and administrative skills including the ability to prioritise and manage workload.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and in writing, in a succinct, professional, and responsive manner, including liaising with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to give excellent attention to detail and manage high-volume tasks efficiently and accurately.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in using MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Demonstrated ability to promote the organisational values of integrity, respect, collegiality, excellence and discovery, and a commitment to positively comply with the associated behaviour expectations.
