The Publication and Systems Officer provides system administration, reporting and technical support for the University's research information systems and other research related databases and business reporting tools

Working under general direction, the Publication and Systems Officer is responsible for providing system administration, reporting and technical support and data quality. The Publication and Systems Officer is also responsible for documentation development, maintenance related to research information processes and statutory reporting and compliance.

To be successful you will need:

  • Knowledge of databases and database structures as well as database administration skills including experience with quality control processes, production of standard and ad-hoc reports and database upgrade testing.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment.
  • Demonstrated research, analytical, problem solving, organisational and administrative skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and maintain work accuracy.
  • Well-developed written and oral communication skills.
