Fixed term position for five years
Newly created strategic leadership role
This exciting new senior leadership role will play a key part in the delivery of major commercial and strategic projects within the Division of Academic and Student Engagement (DASE) including online education, curriculum reform, flexible timetabling and continuing professional development.
With previous extensive experience in a senior management role in a large and complex organisation you will successfully initiate and lead change within the Division ensuring alignment with the University’s new strategic plan “Future making”. You will also engage with and manage key third party relationships ensuring the success of new teaching and learning initiatives.
With a deep understanding of both international and domestic higher education you will actively participate in the development of public policy in the sector and will provide high level strategic advice to the University on Commonwealth and State Government led higher education initiatives and their impact on students and services.

To be successful you will need:
- Extensive experience and skills in strategic and business planning
- Demonstrated ability in project management
- Demonstrated leadership experience, the ability to communicate an organisational visiion and manage individual and team performance
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and demonstrated negotiation and influencing skills
