The Network Specialist is responsible for providing high quality technical and operational support, designing, engineering and management of the Network environment solutions, including all supported infrastructure equipment and software life-cycle support for the University
This role also participates in the delivery of, and provides expert advice to projects relating to Network Services and across ITDS.
To be successful you will need:
- Proven experience managing and troubleshooting Cisco routing and switching technologies including Wireless, VoIP and Application Networking in an enterprise environment.
- Proven experience implementing and managing core Network systems.
- Demonstrate knowledge of current IT trends related to core Network systems and services.
- Demonstrated ability to build effective working relationships and influence a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience with effective cross functional team relationships to develop and deliver effective business solutions.
- Experience with ITIL Change and Incident methodologies desirable.
