The Product Owner works closely with key Information Technology and Digital Services (ITDS) business stakeholders throughout the organisation to ensure they are engaged and continuously updated with the progress of work
The Product Owner is responsible for facilitating the creation of both 12 month product roadmaps and 90 day release plans, for products and technologies, across an assigned Application Portfolio. In collaboration with Business Units, ITDS Managers and stakeholders, the Product Owner will ensure that product backlogs are prioritised for the agile teams and aligned with the vision and the plan.
To be successful you will need:
- Broad experience as an Agile Product Owner or similar.
- Solid experience in Scrum, managing product and release backlogs, in a large-scale agile software development environment.
- Experience conducting workshops and interviews with customers and stakeholders to elicit product features and requirements.
- Experience in design thinking methods, process definition and requirements development.
- Domain experience in Academic and Student, Research or Customer Relationship Management preferred but not essential.
