The Scrum Master is responsible for providing Agile/SCRUM mentoring to the team and organisation and facilitating the implementation of agile practices and methodologies
The Scrum Master works closely with the team manager and the product owner(s) to manage work, deliver value to the business and help to optimise the performance of the team. The position will also facilitate the Agile practices/methodologies to support planning and prioritising of work at the portfolio/program level and work with the business stakeholders to provide them with guidance around Agile practices.
To be successful you will need:
- Broad experience as a Scrum Master within a software applications development team, ideally in a Dev Ops environment.
- Skills and knowledge of facilitation, continuous improvement, ability to empower others, transparency and servant leadership.
- Experience in agile coaching and in promoting the use of agile practices.
- Knowledge of agile approaches – Kanban, Scrum, XP, etc.
- Knowledge and experience with agile techniques – Automated Testing, User Stories, TDD, Continuous Integration, Testing, Pair Programming etc.
