Assist with the collection, collation, verification and quality of research related data for the University
Working under limited direction, the Research Project Officer will assist with the collection, collation, verification and quality of research related data for the University of Adelaide as well as perform a range of data preparation and related reporting tasks. This will include working with key academic leaders across faculties to support their efforts to identify and expose their research outputs.
Within the Division of Research and Innovation the Research Services branch supports the University's research endeavours and performance by providing services to the research community. Services include the oversight of the Excellence for Research in Australia (ERA) data collection, supporting applications for competitive research grants and fellowships, research compliance and regulatory activities, intellectual property management, contract research and consulting and legal advice.
To be successful you will need:
- Well-developed organisational and administrative skills, including the ability to prioritise and manage project work.
- Ability to exercise judgement and use initiative.
- Demonstrated capacity to evaluate and interpret complex rules, policies and procedures.
- Well-developed report writing and ability to analyse and summarise complex information.
- High level data analysis skills, including experience with Microsoft Office suite, and knowledge and experience with databases and reporting tools.
