Lead strategic development of sponsorship opportunities and relationships, including identifying and pursuing new avenues of engagement.
Working under broad direction and with a reasonable degree of autonomy, this role will be responsible for developing and implementing a strategy for growing sponsored students for the university. Managing and promoting sponsorship opportunities and relationships, including identifying and pursuing new avenues of engagement. It will also be responsible for developing and implementing effective frameworks for the establishment and promotion of successful initiatives in borderless delivery, including offshore, transnational, blended learning and MOOC’s- (Massive Open Online Courses).
The incumbent will work cross functionally, and closely with the Associate Director Student Recruitment Services, the Associate Director of the Adelaide Graduate Centre, and the International Advisory Coordinator in Student Life as well as the Pro Vice-Chancellor (Student Learning).The successful applicants will be expected to undertake domestic and international travel as required as will some work outside of standard hour.
To be successful you will need to have:
- Advanced understanding of internationalisation issues within higher education;
- Demonstrated experience in leadership and/or management roles, including effectively improving processes, identifying strategic opportunities, developing new initiatives, empowering others and leading through change;
- Substantial knowledge of student sponsorship opportunities and awareness of delivery models and technology developments related to borderless delivery;
- Experience in stakeholder engagement, developing and maintaining relationships, both internal and external to the organisation and enabling advancement by leveraging strategic relationships;
- Proven analytical and problem solving ability, using relevant information and good judgement to inform decisions.
