Provide a wide range of administrative support services to Research Services.
Working under general direction, the Research Administration/Compliance Assistant provides a range of administrative support services to the units within Research Services with a particular focus on research related reporting and data collections.
The duties include data entry, monitoring and checking for publications, grants and ethics applications, assisting with the production of standard reports, filing, drafting standard correspondence, coordinating arrangements for meetings and reception duties.
Research Services supports the University's research endeavours and performance by providing services to the research community. Services relate to oversight of the Excellence for Research in Australia (ERA) data collection, supporting applications for competitive research grants and fellowships, research compliance and regulatory activities, intellectual property management, contract research and consulting and legal advice.
To be successful you will need:
- Demonstrated experience with data entry and use of databases
- High level computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Office suite of products, in particular spreadsheet functions for the collection and reporting of data
- Well-developed written and analytical skills
- Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a team environment
- Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and maintain work accuracy
