The Faculty of the Professions is one of five faculties at the University of Adelaide. It is comprised of the prestigious Adelaide Law School, the School of Architecture and Built Environment, the Adelaide Business School, the School of Economics, the Entrepreneurship, Commercialisation and Innovation Centre, Institute for International Trade, Centre for Global Food and Resources and the Future of Employment and Skills Research Centre. The faculty offers a range of undergraduate and postgraduate degrees and has strong connections with business and industry. It offers a contemporary, intellectually stimulating and rewarding working environment. 

Working under limited direction, the Business School Marketing Lead is a one year project role that is responsible for formulating and driving the Adelaide Business School marketing strategy in order to increase student numbers.  A key deliverable will also be to develop and deploy a new brand position with associated collateral for the School.  This role will account manage the entire School which encompasses their undergraduate, postgraduate and Executive Education offerings.

Salary: (HEO7) $85,105 - $95,231 per annum.

Superannuation: An employer contribution of 9.5% applies.

Term of position: This fixed-term contract is available immediately for 12 months only.

Position requirements

To be successful you should have:

  1. Proven experience of developing and executing marketing campaigns within a large complex environment
  2. Deep experience in stakeholder management and negotiating mutually beneficial outcomes
  3. Evidence of high level communication skills including, and not limited to, writing copy and delivering presentations
  4. Knowledge of the drivers and motivations of students studying at a University
  5. Experience of delivering mutually beneficial outcomes between various stakeholders
  6. Evidence of sound budgetary management techniques
