The Marketing and Communications branch helps to build the reputation of the University through the protection and promotion of its brand. The branch manages the University's key marketing platforms including its online presence, major brand and corporate marketing campaigns and initiatives, student recruitment marketing and events, and creative and production services. The team ensures that the University brand is represented consistently and professionally.

Working under limited direction, the Branded Content Producer (BCP) is responsible for the creating (filming and editing) high quality, engaging, creative video and photographic content that supports the University’s brand and marketing objectives. The role would present a high level of creative freedom in developing content that positively profiles the University and its people in a highly desirable, progressive and contemporary way, in line with the University’s quality cues and tone of voice.

Salary: (HEO6) $75,316- $81,548 per annum.

Superannuation: An employer contribution of 9.5% may apply.

Term of position: This fixed-term maternity leave backfill contract, July 2017 to June 2018.

Position requirements

To be successful you should have:

  • Demonstrated experience filming, editing and producing creating high quality, creative, impactful branded content (video and photography) for commercial and brand building purposes
  • Demonstrated relationship management skills with the ability to liaise with all levels of internal and external stakeholders, including working with talent, story owners and spokespeople in order to build key, engaging, accurate narrative throughout the content
  • An equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
